Mike Stone started visiting Power Ranch in 2010 when he reconnected with an old friend who is now his wife, Sally. She moved from Silicon Valley in 2003 after seeing Power Ranch and recognizing a brighter future was here. Mike saw that bright future too, and made Power Ranch his permanent home with his daughter when they joined together as a family of six in 2014. Mike has raised four children here in Power Ranch, and is feeling called to give back to the community that gave so much to his children!

Mike is a strong believer in transparency, communication, stewardship and kindness to neighbors. He is also willing to ask tough questions and invest some elbow grease to ensure that the community retains and gains amenities, without breaking the bank. Mike envisions a neighborhood that is best in class like it was when Sally chose it in 2003. He will work to preserve the opportunity for the next generation to share the same wonderful experiences his family has had since they arrived at this gem in the desert!

Mike brings strong relationship management, operations, risk management, and contract negotiation skills, and is a jack of all trades. He’s had to develop a broad base of business skills since everyone in a startup wears a lot of hats. He can bring this flexibility and creative problem solving to bear for Power Ranch. Professionally, Mike’s resume is a who’s who in technology including IBM, Cisco, and Oracle. A lifelong learner, Mike is also a candidate for his Masters in CyberSecurity through Southern Utah University.
